Today we visited the House of Lords, which was great! It was really interesting to learn a little bit about how our country is run. Thanks to Baroness Royall of Blaisdon, Janet Anne Royal, for organising the day.
Today we had a great first Mela meeting. It was realy fun and it was good to get to know everyone involved. The next Mela meeting is on the 5th November.
Today some of us met with Harpenden Youth Town Council to discuss what we wanted for Summer Sounds 09. We had a brainstorming session which resulted in loads of things that will be great for next year. However we still need your thoughts and requests for SS09 so post on our forum, or email any of us directly
Yesterday I received an award at the 3rd annual Youth Service Awards. I would like to thank Alex for the nomination, and all my colleagues at SAYC for their help and support over the last year.
