SAYC ran a pilot event outside the Clock Tower, St. Albans on Saturday 6th December.
We interviewed over 130 young people and they said that:
- It is bad that there is not a Cinema
- There is no safe place to just hang out with friends
- Would like the Pioneer to open on Saturdays
Since the SAYC reported young people's views back to Councillors we are now being asked to represent young people's views on Council initiatives, which affect young people. This is really good news because it shows that the Council is really starting to listen to young people's views.
